Nylex has been an Aussie icon since the company was established in Melbourne, Australia in 1925 and has grown to be market leader in water conservation products for many years.
Today the ‘Nylex Group’ of companies serves a range of industries including Retail, Building, Construction, Automotive and Water Conservation.
Reoccurring water restrictions across a number of states and recent changes to Australian water management legislation has provided Nylex with the opportunity to make a strong impact in the field of water conservation by improving the efficiency of domestic water usage, throughout Australia.
In September 2004, Nylex brought together water conservation activities across the Nylex group to form one business, under the banner of Nylex Water Solutions.
This incorporated the utilisation of current expertise from within the group, along with acquisitions of strategically placed Water Tank suppliers;
- ARI Plastank (Pakenham – Melbourne),
- Envirotuff Tanks (Crestmead – Brisbane) and
- Complas Tanks (Bundaberg).
- Nylex also constructed a Greenfield manufacturing plant in Ingleburn, south of Sydney.
The company, through innovation and design excellence, has grown substantially and is well regarded in the industry for quality and reliability.
